WHAT IS KVASS?

vass is a traditional Eastern European fermented drink, most commonly made from rye bread. Spooky’s Kiosk is inspired by Lithuanian recipes and made here in the UK.

So, does it taste like bread? Is it like beer?

Not ours. It’s light, fizzy, fruity and sweet-and-sour, with none of the bitterness you might expect from beer. Drink it cold, at room temperature, or use it as a mixer.

Who is Spooky?

Spooky’s Kiosk is named after Spooky, our founder’s Siberian cat. She does very little for the business, but somehow ended up with naming rights.

Behind the kiosk

Founded by artist Viltė Fuller, Spooky’s Kiosk grew out of a practice shaped by food, nostalgia and the oddness of everyday life.

After years of exhibiting internationally, she wanted to make something that could live outside the gallery. Spooky’s Kiosk became an extension of her art practice, turning the same obsessions into cans, flavours, images and things you can actually take home.
